to get started recording your own music.
This seminar will cover:
Micing Technique
Basic Tracking
Multi-track Recording
Software Control
Effects
Basic Mixing
This seminar is taught by Scott Miller Sr.
Scott has over 20 years of experience in recording with
hundreds of CD's under his belt.
Classes will be held at

This is a 6 week seminar. No music knowledge necessary. Applies to any style.
A straight forward approach to writing music and lyrics to fulfill your dream.
By the end of class you will have written a basic song.
Class will cover:
Music Theory
Understanding Keys
Chord Progressions
Typical Music Formats
Shadow Chords
Lyrics
Classes will held at

Tuition is $100 Payable on Registration.

Rock School
Rock School is a semester( 3 months) based program that runs year round. This program is for kids 8 to 18 who want to be in a real band. Kids are grouped together and learn songs together and then play a real concert with a large PA and lights.

Bio's
Scott Miller Sr.
After pursuing a music degree at SDSU I spent several years on the road in a band. After moving to Rapid City in 1985 I got married and began teaching guitar in 1990 after my 2 kids were born. I continued teaching throughout a 5 year period as a youth pastor. I have been teaching full time for the past 11 years. I love music and teaching music.

Scott Jr. has been playing guitar since he was 8. He first played in a band at 10 and has been my right hand man in the Rock School program for the past 10 years. He plays several instruments but is teaching beginner guitar and bass lessons. He works very well with young kids.
