Worship 101
My Name is Scott Miller and I was a worship leader and youth pastor for 7 years here in the Black Hills. I decided to start Worship 101 after many years of running a summer band program for kids. Worship 101 will group musicians together (guitar, drums, bass, vocal, keyboards, etc.) to form worship teams and give them the tools to be an efficient worship team member. You don't need any prior experience. It is also a great chance to meet new people and enjoy the worship experience without any performance pressure. You will have a weekly rehearsal (60 min) with your team. I will coach every class and provide all materials so there are no hidden costs. At the end of each semester a worship service will be set up at a local church and all of the teams will play. The public will be invited and we will take offerings for various Christian organizations. At the end of each semester you can decide whether you want to continue in the program.
We will have 3 semesters throughout the year. Spring semester is Feb-May. Summer semester is June-Sept. Fall semester is Oct.-Jan.
Tuition ($75 per month) can be paid monthly but you sign up for a 4 month semester commitment. This insures that when a team is set up it will stay the same through that semester. Give me a call at 255-4799 to enroll. I can e-mail an enrollment form and get you started.
